Poppy is home!!!

We are so happy to have Pietro back home. It was a long 4 weeks and two days, but we all survived. Adjusting back into family life is going pretty well. While Pietro was gone, I could put things down, and I'd know exactly where I put them (most of the time.) I've learned that Pietro moves things. And then, I can't FIND them. I guess I'll take that over loneliness and exhaustion. We haven't taken many pictures lately. We've mostly been enjoying our time together. This one is from right after he came home...it doesn't properly capture Amedeo's joy at having his dad back. He is REALLY happy. Me too.

October Fun

I was worried that Amedeo didn't like coloring, until a friend showed me some Crayola paints. They fit into the palm, you don't have to add water, and they don't dry up. Amedeo loves them. Really really a lot! It's the first thing he wants to do in the morning, even before eating breakfast. Yay for toys that keep them quiet and happy!

And, he went down the slide about 100 times in a row. I was so happy that he took a good nap...we'll be coming back here soon!

Pietro's dad, recently bought a computer and is now connected to the internet! He's going to start taking computer classes to learn how to use it. We're so excited to be able to communicate in this way.

And, of course, it's for Pietro too....we're not sure when he'll be back since the weather isn't cooperating.
