Finally Downloaded the Easter Pics

Geez! You mommies are so up to date! I'm way behind. When exactly do you do your posts? At night? At night, usually I'm a pool of goo on the sofa in front of a blaring TV and a bowl of chocolate. Anyhoo...on with the Easter Report...

First, we went to church, and Amedeo was exceptionally good. I think he was afraid of all the people. The choir was a little horrifying to listen to...they were pretty awfyl. Sigh. The above pic is after church with his first Easter Basket. The slinky was a huge hit! (Slinky update...slinky is bent after Amedeo tried to hang it on the toilet paper roll. It has been repaired, but will never be the same.)

No such thing as too many EB! Here's grandma's version...

Hunting eggs in Grandma and Grandpa's front yard...fun fun fun.

Amedeo took Grandma for a walk.

And...Grandpa, Grandma, Amedeo, and Poppy...we all had a very nice Easter!!!

What do you do when...

your child is deeply asleep at 5:30 pm???

He was out cold...I feel like I could have swung him around by his legs upside down and he still would be asleep. (I didn't.)

So cute...how is it that I get mad at him?

He did not twitch a muscle. Unbelievable!!! Why do they sleep when you don't want them to...and they don't sleep when they're supposed to??

Geez!

Ok...done ranting.

Swim Day

Today we went to the pool. Amedeo was raring to go...it's neat that he's starting to remember places and people better.
He LOVES the water...as you can see from this big smile.

Playing with Poppy. I love this little swim shirt...it seems to keep him warmer...and I won't have to put quite as much sun screen on him when we're outside.

I did not edit this photo, Pietro requested that I photoshop a six pack in here, but I decided to leave his love handles alone since I think they're cute.

Spring cleaning

Amedeo showed some interest in this pan and brush. I'm trying to encourage him as much as possible. So, he swept up some dirt, but then dumped it out on the floor again. Ah well.

It's all happening at the Zoo!

Ten points if you can tell me the name of the song the title of this post came from.

And, here's a picture of the prince riding in his chariot as usual. He could see much better from the carrier than he could from the stroller, but it was hot and I was dressed a little too warmly.
Our friend, the tiger...now Amedeo can roar...

Before we went to the zoo, we had lunch with my cousin, Meg and her family. They live in Kentucky and were visiting their son who attends American University. Here are two of her girls, Ellen and Sarah. Amedeo really liked flirting with them.

Here is Mike...he taught Amedeo the joys of pea flinging from a fork. Good job, Uncle Mike!

And here is the other side of the group...I never did get a picture of Grandpa or Pietro...poor neglected men. Next time, I will, I promise!

It was a fun day...tiring, but fun.

Crafty Ladies

I'm pleased to report that we had a very successful craft session yesterday...there were lots of cute creations!

Here we have Emily2 working on her Jackzilla with Lindsey observing...You can see a better photo of her dragon on her blog.

Using the iron and the hairdryer. Denise on the left, learned that the iron works best when it is plugged in. Tee hee hee.

This was a popular spot for whining babies...and here is Melanie working on her very cute dragonfly shirt.

The babies played nicely together for the most part...when they weren't stealing toys or food from each other.

It was a little too crazy for me to do anything, so I made this shirt after I fed the boys dinner.

Peace Baby!
