Why is it that it takes SO long to get ready to play in the snow? I think this time it took an hour and a half. Part of that time was spent blowing up this tubing thingie. We don't have a super cool baby sled like Jillian, so we had to improvise.
Amedeo is helping Poppy with his awful looking boots. Perhaps we need to take him boot shopping!
And now for the ride! Both Pietro and I had a great time dragging the baby around the yard. Amedeo seemed to have fun, but he was perplexed by the snow.
Finally, they let me out so I could play in the snow. Mom didn't get me a snow suit, so I was pretty wet and cold by the time I was finished...
Here's Amedeo's bathtub. We popped him in there since he seemed a little chilly. The bottom of the tub is rusty, so we've been using a giant plastic bin instead. It works well and has the added benefit of keeping Amedeo away from the faucet and taps.

I'm thinking about going and getting myself some real "snow" boots for next year - they should be on sale this time of year, right? Oh, and the snowsuit...consignment shop find. I really miss that shop near my mom; they closed down :-(
